Could have been worse if you had floaters and pink lavvy roll in there 😳

I once left a bath drain disconnected, and went home. The guy came home from work, had a bath, pulled the plug and flooded the down stairs toilet. The good news was, i hadn't started tiling the floor.

Lol... this thread propa made me laugh when i read it!!!!!
All feeds should not really be turned on until wastes are in place!!! its bad practice to open up ya service valves knowing some1 could turn the tap on when there is no wastes connected!!! BLOODY FUNNY THO!!!!:lol::lol:

Did EXACTLY the same as you when I fitted this tap

For access I Pulled out ALL the pipework (including waste) to get to the brass nut

Then used the tap and mains water to wash away all the grit and dirt that built up.

To cut corners I never bothered to clean out the cupboard underneath of its contents...

Major flood and major drying out operation.

When I first started fitting bathrooms my neighbour was bragging about how he does his own DIY. When he did his bathroom he was laid in the bath for the first time, probably thinking, 'I did this', then he pulled the plug out to find he had forgotten the waste completely!! Straight into the living room......

a tiler I know tried emptying toilet down the shower tray ( floor was to be tiled), slipped and broke both toilet and shower tray😳
