Will this Adhesive do for plasterboard on brick (dot And Dab)?

Hi all, I was going to use Hardi Backer boards but have decided to dot and dab plasterboard onto the bare brick instead.
Problem is,, I have already used Ultra fexible primer to prime the brick and dont know if this will be alright with drywall adhesive as they say to use pva as a primer for that.
Also, I bought some Ultra Pro Rapid porcelaine tile adhesive for use with the backerboards. will this do to stick the plasterboards on with or do I still need to buy drywall adhesive?

At least you used a good flexible primer, pva should'nt be used for priming brick for dry linning..

Buy some gyproc dry wall adhesive it stay wetter longer, gives you a bit more time..

Go to a builders merchants, wickes stuff goes off to quick and Knauf would be my second choice.
