Windows 10

Recently bought myself a new laptop recently with windows 8.1, not got the full system on yet but any thoughts on windows 10 as it's only become available Wednesday.

Yes its a free upgrade for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 users. I registered interest a couple of weeks ago. Awaiting download.

There upgrading in waves, the first wave will be to find out if there are any niggles from what I read.

Got a year for free upgrade.

I would hold off installing / updating for a long while yet, still major bugs with it, one of the main ones is explorer crashing the pc, to the point it's unusable, I as well as a lot of my mates ( and others ) have been on it for a long while as part of the M$ insider testing, although I have to admit, I haven't used it as much as others, my go to tech guy is still reporting it as a complete pita ( pain in the a$$ )

I've just been reading up on it , I might wait till I see if any issues arise with Microsoft office 2010.

Did'nt think they were using Explorer, thought it was another bit they had added.

Not good for Windows.

My stats show a massive portion are mac users when it comes to desktops or laptops. And nearly all phone/phablet/tablet users as iDevices.

They're trying, makes you wonder why so hard ? I know from other posts from testers that there are all sorts of data collecting issues as well ?
