hey everyone , this week the phone has not stopped ringing ,and the good news is that everyone seams to be buying tiling before the vat goes up ,im now fully booked up till feb of next year and cant belive my luck ,and thats with out the contractors i work for and they have 6-7 houses ready around feb -march , i hope im not the only one with lots of work on
so how is it going for everyone ,busy ,not busy , people buying tiles like down here
hope next year brings us all luck

Same here, booked well into next year now and more to come off i am told this week.. lets hope it continues, most trades i have spoke too predict next year to be the worse one yet..

First week in Jan is my first available slot now, best its ever been for me, not normally booked more than a month or so in advance as I only do domestic work. Nice to hear that someone else is doing well.

Most of my work these days is on a week or twos notice but flat out working most saturdays too so can't complain. Usually quiet in January but think there's a few bits coming up after christmas this year.

have a few things in the pipeline for next year ,definately a swimming pool to tile in march , flat out until christmas weekends too, taking 2 weeks off in Jan for a holiday as its such a long winter if you dont get a break good luck to all who are busy and good luck to those looking for work

I had eight inquiries on Tuesday and two yesterday which is a lot more than usual. Have priced five which have been accepted and the others have been recommendations so quite confident. That with existing orders should almost take me to the end of the year and I have about four weeks work booked in for next year.

Have to admit I'm concerned about next year but we'll have to wait and see.

Just to bring this thread crashing down, i'm very quiet as quiet as its ever been which is a major worry as this time last year it was 7 days a week up until christmas and then the usual quiet january, another few trades i've spoke to are also very slow.
