i just found this video, I had never seen it before but I think with more development it could be a winner....What are your thoughts ??

Interesting concept,personally i can see its uses in confined spaces etc...also full view of the tile...it mgith get picked to pieces but personally i'd use an item like this no probs

It is a good concept.. would be different doing raking cuts and on 45.. maybe the addition of it to able to tilt for mitring as well.

Interesting, I suppose it's because it goes against the norm that I'm sat thinking of negative things about it, no doubt these will get ironed out in the development stages, for 1, no field of view, 2 how would you cut on the rake, 45 degrees etc But I do think it has potential for some smaller jobs, i wouldn't like to put a large format tile on it, top heavy and all that.

I don't suppose it would be hard to incorporate a swivel on the bed to do mitres and maybe some sort of jig for raking cuts.

Great concept. I've often thought if bridge saws had a slope of say 5 or 10 degrees they'd be a lot cleaner to use........ but I'm not convinced they weren't his dolls.
