Bathroom/Wetroom just completed.

Original bathroom was travertine that had terrible finish to it. Fixed with tubbed addy and floor fixed over OSB. Leaking inside shower unit led to kitchen ceiling coming down.

Ripped out back to studwork, 12mm hardi fixed in wet area, new batons and ceiling installed, shower head fixed into ceiling, access form top floor bedroom, jacuzzi bath re-installed.

All products supplied by Porcelanosa apart from mirror which I had cut to size in smoky grey finish.

here is a few pics of my current ongoing disaster of a job .
turkish marble field tile 900x 900 .
consignment was so bad that we could only lay 100 sq mts out of 300.
had to get the other 200 sq mts reduced to 870 x 870 to get rid of the chips on edges.
whilst transporting the stone 50 sq mts dropped and broken and the hydraulic hose burst over tiles on way up to london so more damage.
been one big struggle and now find today find the templated treads are all wrong .
sometimes you want to give up but we have to find a way and we have .
now have a bed thickness of 5mm to 40mm behind riser length of approx 1200mm.
if you ever have to do curved staircase make sure you cover yourself plus loads .
bed thicknes left to right 7-20mm.
anyway good to be challenged

oh yes i forgot to mention that the 915 x 457 x 10mm calacatta from mandarin were terribly bowed inversally. just too thin for a tile of this size.but i have to say that using the raimondi levelling pegs as recommended by gary the tiler worked a treat.have tried before with porcelain without great sucess.this job has been the biggest mare i have had for a very long time and i have not had the heart to chronicle the problems but hpoefully in next few eeks i can show a reasonbable result with a very flawed product

tell me more about the leveling system. yesterday i orderd the starter set from karl dahm. i don´t need it really but in the german facebook forum all tilers screw the tiles on the wall so i have to try it really. wish you good luck for your job. now i go to work. second job today. no problem. the oster rabbit works too. :)
