😕 Hi all doing first bathroom next week.
Porcelain tiles on both floor and walls. My problem is half the walls are plaster and half concrete. Would i need 2 different adhesives or could i just use a multi flex. The floor is ply so do i prime it first and what adhesive and grout on that. Thanx

Use a flexible rapid set (cement based) adhesive on the floor. Prime ply with acrylic. For walls use tub adhesive if tiles are less than 10mm, if thicker than 10mm then use flex cement adhesive. PVA the cement walls and prime tha plaster walls with acrylic

at micro level the pva forms crystals that prevent the adhesive bonding to the wall, also if the pva were to get wet it goes soft again

same applies but you don't need to prime a cement floor if its an established floor if its faily new you need to use an acrylic primer
