Rubi slim system cutter survey

Wow that is a huge price difference!

Rubi was the only brand we used in the UK for a long time. But Sigma seems to be the choice for the UK now.

Can you find a Sigma cutter over there?

Buy the Raizor, no comparison to the slim system.
The Rubi slim is primarily for 3.5mm porcelain slabs.
The Raizor will cut 12mm porcelain slabs up to 3.2m x 1.6m.

$2000 is that with the power Raizor?
The power Raizor is not required.
The Raizor rail kit will cut up to 12mm in a straight line no problem.
For shaped cuts, use an angle grinder with good quality blade.
That’s all that is required.

If 60 x 120 is the largest piece you expect to cut, then go for a 1200 mechanical cutter like the Sigma
3e4m that cuts to 1270mm
And it’s much cheaper

Sometimes customer has budget problem, and choose cheap tiles.
Use push handy tile cutter can’t cut prefect and waste time to
I have 3 wet cutting machine(max 110cm) and 4 handy cutter.
If working place conditions allow, I love use wet cutting machine.(can get more money from customer )
So I’m looking for guide cutter which can install disc cutter and water supply or vacuum cleaner.
In Taiwan only find two brand.(Maybe festool can)
Yesterday I ask Raimondi Taiwan agent, full set with power razior kit cost 2000USD.
So i confuse Raimondi free cut with power Raizor is worth 2000USD?
Or buy RUBI slim system with TC-125 is enough to use.
Thanks again.

That’s a different question 🙂
I have not used the tc-125, but I understand it is not great.
I have owned the Rubi tc-180, that is a good machine and cheaper than the Raizor.
The TC-180 does not do 45°.
The Festool is not designed for tiles, but does work I believe.
The Freecut is a different machine to the Raizor, they are different systems.
The Freecut is the old Raimondi system but is still very good, and is stronger than the Raizor. (More robust)
You do not need to buy Raizor with the grinder (you can buy just the carriage), you can fit a Bosch 7 series grinder, (small Bosch grinder) that will fit the Raizor and is much cheaper than the Raizor grinder.
Will the Rubi TC-125 do everything you want?
I do not know.
Is the Raizor better than the Rubi TC-125?
Definitely, yes.
Would I buy the Rubi TC-125, no I would not.
Is the Raimondi worth the extra money?
Yes, I believe it is, but only if you will use all it’s functions.
But the Rubi TC-180 is much better than the Rubi TC-125.
If 120 will be your biggest tile,
the Rubi DC-250 1200 would be better.

Thank so much.
Two hours ago i decide buy Raimondi system.
Raimondi dealer is in Taiwan, Rubi dealer is in China(if parts broken need wait shipping time).
And free cut 165cm set with is save 450USD.(not over the budget too much).

cazzo...😵
now you're provoking me ...
is a question to ask?
this is an apprentice question 🙂
Haha it was a question I asked to see if you were watching trend Antonio, I knew you would react. Haha forgive me :seenoevil::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

Good choice 🙂
Do they make the Raimondi in Taiwan?

Thank you very much.
Taiwan dealer advice me buy razior system better than free cut system.
In Taiwan format tile tool is a niche market.
Only Raimondi have propaganda,RUBI don’t.
But In China can find RUBI, cant find any Raimondi tool.
