Hi all! We have taken up some old tiles in the front garden and are preparing the surface for new tiles. It's concrete underneath, and pretty uneven so we want to level the surface before laying the new tiles. We need to level to a fall so that it drains away from the house. We've considered 3 options:
1. Screed - but it would only be about 10mm which is too thin for a screed
2. Level the whole surface with tile adhesive - but that would be pretty expensive and I've read that it's hard
3. Use self levelling compound - not sure it's possible to do that to a fall
Are any of those options viable? If not what would you suggest, other than ripping up the concrete and starting again?
Thanks in advance!
