Hey All, So we're in the midst of a project and it's been interesting. Is there a type of edging that can be used to "hide" and/or protect the edges of the tile that are protruding? While some are flush many are not (I realize the walls are uneven and the thin set was not troweled well). And, can/should the gaps be siliconed or backed first then siliconed?

Also, is no ledge acceptable (it was a prefab wall and we thought it would be a small ledge...not NO ledge). We are trying to "salvage" a project. TIA!

Very messy.
Difficult to really understand what I'm looking at in the pictures.

Corners, and where tile meets your door trimmings/architrave can be Silicon, that should tidy it's up a bit.
The trims used seem either too small for the tile, or they've been pushed against the wall and the tile is left proud. Doubt you can do much about this now, but at the time, if you put a small wedge or packer behind the trim to bring it forward you could if just silicones the gap between tile and wall.
Not sure about the bath tiling. You seem to have lots the bath onto the wall a lot!!

Thanks for the feedback. It's like the further along they went, the "messier" the finish. I think they didn't level the surface and used uneven amounts of thin set (this was a small bathroom gut). I am thinking that maybe we could use a Schluter eck-k type 90 degree corner to hide and protect protruding tile.
