450 x 450 porcelain tiles were laid on the bathroom floor recently. One of the tile sometimes makes a clicking noise.

We have wooden floor in the bathroom and tiler put the Becker boards with screws and put some liquid/paint on Becker board for waterproof and then used adhesive for tiles.

I was wondering if only that one tile needs to be removed and then put it back with more adhesive?

A clicking noise isn't good. Usually means you're hearing movement. Hopefully not adhesive crumbling up. Do you know what make backer board were used and what make tile adhesive was used? Any bags still knocking around or receipt for the tiles have it on by chance?

Hi Guys, just to give you an update on the clicking tile situation.

One tile had been removed but while it was being pulled the Becker board is now damaged.

You can see in the picture there are two screws highlighted in red circle.

How can I secure the new Becker board to wooden floor? Only two screws can be used because there are pipes under the rest of the area.

Just a thought, Is it okay to unscrew and cut the square damaged area of Becker board and put the new square of new Becker board with two screws and rest adhesive?

With regards to the tile which was making a clicking noise ( next to damaged Becker board area), at the corner of a tile there is a gap which can be filled with more adhesive. This is what tiler told me.

Any advice would be appreciated.
