Which Tile Adhesive and grout brand did you use the most in the last 12 months?

And also, reply to the thread with where you source the adhesive please?

I realise that sometimes your first choice adhesive brand may not be locally available or your grout brand is different to your adhesive.

In those cases vote for the adhesive brand you used most as by weight you'd have used far more adhesive than grout over the 12 months.

Vote other then matey @Rosco100 will see how many votes don't go to the common bunch. If a few people say they're using it then I'll add it, you can change your vote at any time see so you can vote for them if I add them later.

Where do you get that from mate? First time I've heard of it.

It would be nice if The Tile Association, Tilers community (Facebook) and UK Tiling Forum, and any other popular places tilers spend their time, could also do a Poll and I'll collate the totals of them all in Jan 2025.

Can anybody help with getting this information out to them please?

Poll needs to ask what tile adhesive was most used during 2024.
And the options for the Poll should match ours, or at least have those in it. There were some random makes that I didn't put in the options but you're welcome to if you think your tilers have used a different one for some reason.

Looks like people are starting to get the message. Apologies for sending multiple messages and alerts about this tile adheaive poll. It is important to us. So I will be hassling you all who havent voted yet.

Homeowners and weekend warriors who are tiling (all DIY there) need just pick the brand they used for their recent tiling work.

Professional Wall and Floor Tilers need vote for the brand they used most but then also reply with the shop you buy from.

The votes are slowly coming along. Will keep chipping away. I'm glad I started way before December when I was planning to do it but trying to get tradespeople to vote on things I've always found hard to do. 😆

I was expecting BAL and Mapei to do well as they always do. Then Weber has done better the last few years so they're up there with BAL and Mapei now. But Tilemaster and Ultra are both doing well too.

Quite a few rebranded stuff in tile shops so I don't stick them in. Votes are all public, even before you vote (part the reason it takes ages to collect the votes these days as we didn't used to do that so people needed to vote to read the results), and I'm monitoring the voters and all are genuine unique IP addresses and connections. So there's no messing about these days.

Trying to cheat is too much hassle and would be spotted so brands don't want to risk that. So it's genuinely a nice addition to existing sales metrics and things to see which brands are used to fix tiles.

Most voters are tilers by trade but some are plumbers / bathroom fitters etc and some DIY / Homeowners.

Kelmore is the new brand that’s hitting the right specs!
Improved formula on the original product - Tilemaster - owned and sold off by the Kelly family and now back in the market as Kelmore!
Does everything it says on the bag and at reasonable cost.
