I recently tried Ardex AF200 adhesive under the ditra matting onto concrete for the time. I found it simple to use, stayed “open” long enough to allow me to position the matting correctly and gave good results over a 30sqM floor

1571343399 Ok, thanks. I appreciate that all our tools are down to personal preferences, cost, experiences, etc.... So, for a portable, table top, water cooled saw that can cope easily with porcelain which saw would you aim for ?.

I’ve read that most pro’s seem to prefer the d2400 for performance, etc....but the cost (new) for the d2400 is quite high, when compared to the Husq saw. Can I ask where you picked up a dewalt saw for the same cost ?, sounds like you got a very good deal.

Has anyone tried / tested / got a view on the Husqvarna ts230f ?, for its price...is it worth it ?,

Thanks Julian, looking at the Ardex info it does look simple and quicker to use and only a few £’s more than usual adhesive !. Think I might give it a try for this job, just to see how how it goes. What size trowel do you use to spread the material ?, is a 4.5 x 4.5 sq notch trowel suitable ...
