Thats good enough for me. After all primer is surly primer its not like its a 2 part slc its waterbased so like you say it will depend on the sub to whether it needs primer in order to stick but primer nout to do with process.

:oops: I thought you talking in general, sorry my bad! So sbr for priming ply before applying mapei renovaton screed and primer g for screeds etc and im guessing no primer when applying ontop of any membrane. Got it....... glad to hear there 100 pound primer ain't required because it sounds...

Cheers for the info. Who makes sbr? I thought priming ply wasn't required with mapei adhesives. I use primer g in screeds or plaster but nothing for ply.

Really Dave, have you any ideas must be same stuff cant be 2 mapei renovation fibre screeds released in last few weeks . Apparently Mapei rep told them it was needed last week.

Went in to TG and asked about the the new mapei renovation fibre enhanced screed and was told that it was £13 per bag so i thought thats a good price then then boy said but you need 2 primers "A" and "B" and together there £100 to trade! I about passed out, so will have to see if Dave got better...

Found it £13 per bag but 2 primers required cost £100 so quite expensive!

Ah right is Ultraplan maxi suitable or am i best to try get a hold of Ultraplan Renovation SLC? whats the difference? any ideas who stocks it?

H Looked on mapei website and is it ultraplan maxi? only one i can see that sets 30mm in one go but doesnt mention ply being suitable sub, unless im missing something.
