    Just wondering what everyones thought are about sub. After disscussion with builder about sub floors on wet ufh. ok so ufh is layed then chipboard sub ontop, I suggested 15mm ply ontop to ensure strength then mapeitex followed by tile. He wants chipboard the backerboard and tile. so whats...

    I too have now been converted to Mapeitex for installs were waterproofing isnt required but when it is CI+ all the way. Looks really easy to work with and cut etc, only query ill need clarification on is it says bonded using keraquick and i use a lot of keraflex and theres no mention of bonding...

    168 for 30m2 without any Tf discount but still beats other shops. Never knew they sold Mapetex its not on the website but good to know its an option. Ive not spoken to Dave but what was his points that sold you on the Mapetex?

    Yeah they seem good points Cheers Ken, think ill call mapei and quiz them. Do you recon its a better choice the the new ci? Only ask as your one if the few who have tested ci+.

    I've never saw it in TG and when I've asked about decouplers they have never heard if them. Others may have had better luck.

    Whos the full warranty from the seller or Dural themselves? Mapetex is one I'm also looking into but am unsure of it because its single layer so wonder if it work as well.

    That days a lot Dave, cheers. Would you recommend anti crack membranes mapetex or pecilastic? Only I've never come across them. Take it there a decoupler just different manufacturer?
