    We would normally opt for belt and braces with so many aspects and joining surfaces to consider with a wet floor and bath combination. ie. Full tanking of the floor and walls with a suitable membrane.

    ouch, yes, many forearm hairs reside underneath wetrooms in the UK. Thankfully WaterGuard protects against this too!

    Yes, you got it. If you'd like a Waterguard sample just drop us a message and we'll pop some bits in the post for you. Aside from adding decoupling to 10mm we wanted to make the process less messy and quicker without compromising any function.

    You're right in what you’re seeing although it has bonded but is de-coupling due to the movement in the substrate. Waterproof and decoupling at 1mm thick instead of 6-8mm!

    Hi, indeed Tilesafe is a little sticky to handle! but you are correct, the new epoxy friendly fleece one sided adhesive membrane alternative is called Impey Waterguard.
