However, its name sounds like a brand of womens sanitary pads.

    Kerakoll H40 No Limits

I'm using Tenaflex at the moment specced and supplied by tile suppliers Artisan of Devizes. Amazing yield and 4 hour pot life. Lovely to use but expensive by the bag/kg. Hopefully there will be no performance issues.

    Flexible Adhesive

When in doubt I use Mapei S2 Quick. If you've got a customer holding you to being fully responsible for the tiling in a building that is highly likely to move by huge amounts, for the relatively small area, I would pass on the job, and wish them luck finding a mug to do it.

    New levels

Stabila box levels? Bit pony in my opinion. Always buy a milled edge level. A bubble that fills the guide marks leaves less room for error, just check every vial accurately and mark any discrepancies clearly next to the vial that is innacurate. I find the 600mm level in a 4 pc level set is...

Which Slow Set Adhesive is Best?

Just about to grout a 80 metre limestone floor with Bal limestone wide joint flex grout. Used an 8mm joint and was supplied by tile suppliers with Kerakol fugabella grout. States 2-12mm but with antiqued edge and heavy contours it seemed too fine for the surface areas. Although the area rep said...

    Recess for door mat

I usually edge porcelain with a piece of 20mm wide granite tapered to fit the customers desired depth of matting, place the matting insitu, then profile each bristle to match. Then contract a monthly cleaning service. Or whack a 12mm trim in it and let the customers do what they want with it.

    New levels

Fair point, I also clean mine, but leads to scratches that embed dirt, and the time spent being over clean out weighs the cost of shiny new ones. If a level reads level, whether its yellow or red it still does the same job.

    Site radios

Makita Dab is very bassy, the bass thunders through walls. But as others say, get whatever you have batteries for.

    New levels

I use a Bosch laser level and the extendable pole, few years old but works fine. When it comes to spirit levels i just get the drop forge sets when needed when on offer at screwdix, all ways check them for level, and allways get the 90cm level seperately. They allways get covered in addy and...

    Need a new mixer

I just use my 240v Titan drill with a m14 SDS paddle adaptor. Has similar power motor as most mid range mixers, mix's all addys with ease, and still performs with hammer function taking up tiles and as a normal drill without needing to buy seperate mixer. I fail to see why I need a mixer.

    Sanding gyvlon

Yeah black pads are the coarsest pads, white are the finest then they increase through to black, the darker the colour of pad, the coarser they are. My drive pad was damaged when I first bought my machine, and lent it to a builder "friend" before i had a chance to use it. He returned it after...

    Sanding gyvlon

Just been looking tonight for a scarifier/sanding product for my Victor 400. Drive plates aren't particularly cheap and not sure where I can buy sanding discs off the shelf and physically check the products before buying locally. I'm wondering if black pads might suffice even if I chew through...

Just pointing out that the job is listed as South East, think that should be South West.
