    They seem to have changed things recently, it never used to show retail and trade price together, in fact most things didn't show any price until you clicked on individual items.

    I can't see any difference between Block Level and RLS having now used both on several jobs, 2,000 Block clips just cost me £102 delivered - would of been about £170 with RLS clips. Block do 2mm as well.

    Yes they do snap, if you hit them with a big hammer ;) Shear strength isn't great with drywalls (sideways pressure) and most other screws too for that matter, but shear strength isn't much of a consideration on a floor or ceiling as lateral movement sufficient to snap the fixings is practically...

    Left this for a while before replying as thinking about it I had only used the drywalls on ply and on insulation boards but knew I had a bathroom floor to do using hardibacker 6mm - did it today using the drywalls and every screw went in fine with no sheared heads.

    I get 30% too, wasn't told what discount I could expect when I opened the account in store but that's what it says when I log in to the CTD site. Been using them for pretty much everything but went in to another tile shop to collect some tiles for a customer and enquired about their adhesive...

    Been doing that too recently with my Bosch 10.8v drywall gun with collated attachment, been using 25mm drywalls to good effect.

    I've cut Hardie indoors with a grinder before, just held a damp sponge carefully against the blade during the cut - little or no dust to speak of.
