    Iam sorry but it’s terrible ,in my opinion would be to take the lot up.Unfortunately that’s what you get having a gardener do a skilled tiling job he won’t be able to rectify this himself .

    hardi backer boards for me prep as Dave said above If tilers don’t want to prep for there own work leave them alone good tilers want to prep there own work just to make sure it’s done right .

    Make sure you get a good blade take your time and with a bit of practise you should be ok

    Angle grinder if you definitely need to cut them .you could leave a 5 mm gap between tile and tray so don’t really need a lot of cutting

    Awful job , did the same person do all the work , doesn’t look like a proper tiler has done that . I’d be asking to see proof he is a tiler and not a jack is all trades master of none This is happening all the time and it doesn’t do the tiling industry any good at all .

    Sorry to hear this ,no option but to rip up and start again. The tiles hopefully should come up easy and you could save most of them .Makesure you get a proper tiler to re tile ,plenty of good tilers on here who maybe able to help .All the best going forward .

    Hi One of my tilers has just got a permanent residency visa for Australia. He is emigrating on the 15th April and going to live in Perth with his family his wife is a nurse and has got a job but he is going and will try and find work when there . Is there anyone who has any contacts etc to help...
