    I’ve just recently used the new formula recommended to me by pro tiler tools, i used the sandstone colour....very impressed at how easy it is to apply and wash off and open time was good too......dried out completely uniformed....lovely stuff......I used it years ago when it used to take forever...

    That looks horrendous, maybe there is a slight bow in the tile but still, looking at that I’d say they didn’t even bother checking the walls with a straight edge and just followed the walls with a 6mm serration ......lips everywhere, grouting is so rough, i would condemn that and not pay....(...

    Builders Tiling job - is this acceptable?

    Tiling onto ply on walls doesn’t follow british standards......all shower enclosure walls should firstly be made watertight using a water resistant backer board, I use wedi board, if that’s not possible then it should be tanked.......wedi board or Hardi backer board glued & screwed to the floor...

    Large format popped around edges

    i agree with others that a 10mm seration only is insufficient for bonding a 12mm large format tile, I never tile directly to the ribs, always back butter the back of the tile but with large format always aerate the back of the tile, this will also help with the concern of levelling clips...

    Haha!.....good point!......the ultra SPES is probably the best adhesive I’ve used......tilemaster setaflex is good which I was using for many years but ultra SPES is just so easy to work with and now my 1st choice ....good prices too
