angle
In Euclidean geometry, an angle is the figure formed by two rays, called the sides of the angle, sharing a common endpoint, called the vertex of the angle.
Angles formed by two rays are also known as plane angles as they lie in the plane that contains the rays. Angles are also formed by the intersection of two planes; these are called dihedral angles. Two intersecting curves may also define an angle, which is the angle of the rays lying tangent to the respective curves at their point of intersection.
The magnitude of an angle is called an angular measure or simply "angle". Angle of rotation is a measure conventionally defined as the ratio of a circular arc length to its radius, and may be a negative number. In the case of a geometric angle, the arc is centered at the vertex and delimited by the sides. In the case of a rotation, the arc is centered at the center of the rotation and delimited by any other point and its image by the rotation.
Hi there,
I am looking for advice on tile layout for a new build.
We are putting 600mm x 600mm large format in the kitchen and running it out the hallway.
The kitchen is at a 22Deg to the hallway.
The edges of the tiles will not aligned at this angle and so i am looking for advice how best to...
On large format are alot of you using angle grinders (anyone use the monolit guide? Plus using a good extractor) Or the wet circular saw or now you having to carry about 1200mm wet cutter?
Hi, I've been thinking about corded a water-fed angle grinder and wondered if anyone could recommend one?
Also are these dust-free enough for use indoors? many thanks in advance.
Hi there, I hope someone can help me. I’ve just tiled my kitchen, and need to trim the tiles with some chrome upvc angle bar (I tiled over the original tiles so couldn’t use ordinary tile trim). The two way mitres at the corners have worked out fine, but I’m not happy with the three way mitres...
I was watching videos on cutting tiles with angle grinder and came a cross one where the tile was cut on what looked like a large board.
Anyone know what material it would be looking at getting something to cut on top of.
Can anyone give any hints or tips on using an angle grinder for cutting tiles, bought a variable Bosch and premtool blade.
Have read about rotating the grinder and having the blade on the right as pull cutting can be more accurate on longer cuts. Also the dust etc is thrown away from you...
Just wondering what I should expect to pay for a good blade to cut porcelain tiles? It'll be a 4.5" blade to fit my grinder.
The guy in one of the local tile shops showed me a £30 blade he "sells to all the professional tilers." I've seen a diamond edged blade in toolstation for £3. But I...

I bought some 5" discs (United Abrasives SAIC) along with a flexible backing pad (hook type) to fit into a grinder. (4" also available) for polishing ceramic cut edges. I will also try them in one of my air polishers.
These were from ATS Diamond Tools with some help. (SAIT Velour Silicon...
Hi everyone!
Any advice to help with the cuts please? How to best avoid not break or chip the tile, how to keep a straight line...
Do you cut it at the back of the tile or the front?
Any advice would be much appreciated:)
10mm trowel . Depending on how i hold it ,i can get from 6-10 mm adhesive . What angle is the best . To get a 10mm bed, i need to hold at 90 degrees etc
Maybe I'm a bit late to the party but to those of you that haven't tried these yet you should do as I've drilled 10 mm porcelain in under 20 seconds with a 25 mm hole . The make I'm using is Mexco although I understand ATS products are much liked . Time easily outweighs cost .
Hi, I am currently tiling a bathroom with 600x 300 porcelain tiles and all is going well.
The sink area is a boxed section that protrudes from the back wall for the waste pipes etc.
