A bridge is a structure built to span a physical obstacle (such as a body of water, valley, road, or railway) without blocking the path underneath. It is constructed for the purpose of providing passage over the obstacle, which is usually something that is otherwise difficult or impossible to cross. There are many different designs of bridges, each serving a particular purpose and applicable to different situations. Designs of bridges vary depending on factors such as the function of the bridge, the nature of the terrain where the bridge is constructed and anchored, the material used to make it, and the funds available to build it.
The earliest bridges were likely made with fallen trees and stepping stones. The Neolithic people built boardwalk bridges across marshland. The Arkadiko Bridge, dating from the 13th century BC, in the Peloponnese is one of the oldest arch bridges in existence and used.
Hello all
What are the benefits of a bridge saw over a “normal” push though electric cutter. ?
Are the cuts better for all tile types. I mainly use a grinder and the rubi nd 200.
What would the advantage of a bridge saw over these. Are the cuts better on ceramic and porcelain tiles?
Any recommendations for a bridge tile saw that can handle a 1200mm 16mm thick porcelain paving tile?

Hi all,
Got a job coming up where the customer as got 1200x150 and 900x150 wood effect porcelain.

Any localish to Cardiff have a bridge wet saw up for grabs please, have 5 flats to tile with 600mm porcelain, if it was 1 I'd bite my lip and make do, but 5, worth investing now I thinks :)

Just have had a load of smaller work come in though in thicker tiles I.e 18 and 20mm tiles and I never replaced my old rubi 200 so need to replace for a sensible...

Looking for a bridge cutter, something like the Dewalt or Rubi but not necessarily that brand.
I think I've asked for the right thing, where a diamond wheel passes over the tile to be cut, rather than my having to feed the tile past the wheel.
Thanks
Hugo
