Hi guys, the title says it all really. I don't have a wet tile saw so looking for good quality one blade. Also, some hole saw cutters. Is it best to buy cheap and use once and throw and buy decent ones.
Thanks guys. Hope you have a good day
Hi
I’ve seen the video for the Montolit STL discs that can cut and grind but before I bite the bullet and spend £90 odd on a 4” grinder disc, I wondered if there are any other cheaper alternatives for grinding down or cleaning up tile edges (or bevelling even)?
Don’t have many issues with...

The 18v has a 5" guard and the 54 a 6" with a slower max speed (7000 rpm)
I am going to be cutting some Ceramic Travertine tiles for a kitchen. I was thinking of this disc.
Is a 115mm the 'best' size...

So for quite some time now my weapon of choice for re-fabricating tile edges and finishing mitred has been one of these.
A 120# metal disc, great bits of kit.
Recently the supplier stopped selling them and finding a replacement was impossible.
I pestered a few companies to get them in...
Great news.
We have a tile drill and cutting disc manufacturer coming on the forum. They're a british manufacturer, so you wont get any price increases because of brexit. :) :D
They're even going to work with you to develop a cutting disc (I said 115mm) specifically for your needs (I said...
Perhaps, problem solved.

Maybe I'm a bit late to the party but to those of you that haven't tried these yet you should do as I've drilled 10 mm porcelain in under 20 seconds with a 25 mm hole . The make I'm using is Mexco although I understand ATS products are much liked . Time easily outweighs cost .
Hi guys,
Is there a technique other than a steady hand to getting straight long cuts using a grinder. Also mitres I've seen a set up of a 45deg angle block and cut freehand but only on small cuts.
Trying to make a decision on whether to upgrade to a cordless grinder and batteries or to spend...
I know this subject has been touched on a few times but not really in length, is there a good dust extraction device to suit the grinder that actually works well? Even with the wet sponge, I have had white bogies this week.
I'm looking at getting a couple new blades (115mm) .
Turbo type for porcs and a continous rim for soft ceramics...
Tried quite a few , any new ones on the market worth buying ?
Hi all
Looking for a new grinder blade to lower an area of concrete floor before leveling it out. What reasonably priced blades do others use. 115 mm blade size.
Cheers.
Alan from ATS sent me a new blade to try.
I've only had the chance to try it on ceramic tiles but have to test it on natural stone & quartz to see how it cuts.
On the ceramic it leaves a great cut, I've a slight bit of wobble in my grinder but I think this is the best blade I've used from ATS to...
