Yes it's that damned gypsum screed!
The builder assured me it's been sanded & laitence removed all bar one room. I'm on site today and they've got a guy using an electric hand sander with 80 grit paper. I don't think that's manly enough, how can I tell if the laitence has been taken down...

It's one of the newer screeds that apparently don't need sanding ect
The screed has been down a while and customer thought he was running the water through the heating system to help dry
But ther must of being an airlock or dodgy thermostat because...

We got 144 m2 of anhydrite floor area to tile ,,with 600 ,,600 porcelain tiles to go down on it .
We are getting mixed messages as to what adhesive to use , and what sealer to use .

Just thought I would see who is using gypsum adhesives when tiling to gypsum substrates/backgrounds .
you might be using say anhydrocol or Anhyfix or GBTA etc on say an anhydrite screed but are you now using them on skimmed gypsum walls.?
Are you still using cement based adhesives for tiling...
