Coming to the end of a bathroom fit, just inspected some trim fitted at a corner yesterday and where 2 trims meet it juts out 5mm creating a sharp point. Doesn't seem correct to me.
What is the solution when I speak to them next week?
Unfortunately I allowed some adhesive to squeeze underneath the protective plastic of a brushed metal trim.
This looks to have etched the metal.
Would this polish out with T-Cut or similar?
Are there any secrets for getting metal trim to look good? Firstly, should I grout on the underside or just put the trim on the tiles? There is a tiny lip on the edge of the trim but no more than 1mm, it won't hide many imperfections in the tile and I would need to make sure that all of the...

Hi all,
Just trying to find out if anyone knows if coated metal trims are suitable to use around an open fireplace that contains a log burner? Concerned that the heat from the burner would affect the trim coating?
Customer wants a white metal trim, so will probably go for genesis trims (have...
Done this job today, anyone any other ways they do trim work round a window this shape?
Was thinking of going another 15mm past where I stopped & spin the trims into the reveal.
Haven't done a window like this for years.
im fitting 300x600 tiles that are 9mm thick.
i read on here that i should use a 10mm round trowel for that size tile and that it will squash down to 6mm.
I assumed that would mean id need 15mm trim but someone at topps tiles said otherwise.
can anyone advise what i need to do/buy?
thanks
I used to cut them in tiny metal mitre block, but got fed up with it as the 2.4m length trim moved alot using the hacksaw so I ended up making my own mitre block, what do you lads use to make your life easier, like hearing how other tilers do it there way

Hi. I got a granite worktop marked with metal tile trim. Any chance someone knows how to remove it. It's not a scratch, it looks like it's been drawn with pencil.

Hello folks,

Hi All
Can anyone please advise as to the best (easiest LOL)way of cutting the corners on metal trim, with a slight curved profile. All my corners are not square so looks like a nightmare to mitre them.
Many Thanks

What are peoples' opinion of these? I have only bumped into one tiler who uses them and he raved about them, looking briefly at them, they looked as if they cut the trim a bit curved not straight like my usual method of mitre block and hacksaw.
Also i have always used the mitre block and...
Is there an easy way to cut metal trim. I have a mitre block and even a small mitre block for trim, but even with a fine toothed saw it seems there must be an easier way.
can you cut it on an electric mitre saw or will the trim bend??
