Hi Guys have a big gap above tray to fill 2cm high 1cm deep (3/4in x 1/2in)
Any suggestions on best way to fill the gap and re Silicon ?

I have done a bit of tiling before but I will be tiling our shower room soon and we have a 800 x 800 quadrant shower. The tiles we like are 400mm wide.
We also prefer the look of them lining up and not in a brickwork pattern.

My bathroom fitter has just finished tiling the floor and I'm not very happy with the finish around the shower tray. Pictures below. The tiler has filled the gap with Silicon which has already pulled away slightly leaving a small hole against the tile.
Would be interested in your opinion...
Sorry about the weird posts, but you lot must have come across all manner of configurations, even if this isn't much to do with the skills of a tiler.
Managed to come up with a design below that I think works, but ideally it needs a fixed quadrant panel and a hinged flipper hung off of it...
