Okay, so we've upgraded the forum, we've changed domain name from .co.uk to .com. We've got a couple of tags to encourage members to post really good content, and those seem to be working. We've changed the name of the TilersForums Arms tag to Tilers' Arms Tag. We've added country flags to post...
The legendary Trusted Advisors Forum has been removed. The tag still remains and those members who have the tag now, and get the tag in the future, should have their advice trusted. Just the actual forum category that was hidden for 95% of the forum and seldom got used has been removed...
So after a few years of campaigning for him to be made up to TA, and in recognition for his continued support and dedication to the forum,
@Andystiletiling has been asked to join the Trusted Advisors team............
Congratulations Andy, well done mate.
This group of members make up the...
After a lot of discussion, it’s been agreed among the current TA’s that with the increase in forum members and of course the inevitable increase in forum activity, that a few members should be added to the team.
These guys have all been selected for what they bring to the forum, and for their...
Thanks to his constant support and involvement with the forum, and sound knowledge base @Adey1980 has now found his way on to the Trusted Advisors Team.
Congratulations Adey, thanks for the support and keep up the good work mate. :)
Afternoon.......
After a nomination by a fellow member and a vote by his peers, I would like to announce that @Albert has been added to the trusted advisor team.
Albert, who practically invented Tiling as we know it today, :) has a vast knowledge of the Tiling industry, and I’m sure you’ll...
In recognition of their wide and comprehensive knowledge base, and for their continued support of the forum, Imp & Harry have been added to the Trusted Advisors team.
Congratulations guys,
and thank you!
Congratulations to @LEE MAC for becoming a Trusted Advisor.
His fellow top tile fixers have noted his awesome skills and dedication to his field. His advice is spot on.
I'm proud to announce another member of the Trusted Advisor team, @MissTiler.
Her work with mosaics is out of this world. And her fellow members have recognised this.
Julian Sidney, a very respected member with years of invaluable experience, has now been added to the
'Trusted Advisor' team
in recognition for his hard work and advice given to fellow members on the forum!
Thanks Julian!
Hi guys

He's out of hospital now and in a new accomodation. He's been diagnosed with a form of dementia but he's doing ok considering everything he's gone through. The main thing for phil is making sure he stays on his medication. He needs to take tablets...

Perhaps if you wanted to go incognito, respond here with average (not your own) rates for your area?
I'll put the leg work in and make this a generalised base rate for areas etc.
So customers know when...
Marc has been giving a lot of good advice lately and it hasn't gone unnoticed. Seems a fair few people have benefited from what he's written and he's probably saved a bunch of bathrooms and kitchens.
So we wanted to show that his advice can often be trusted.
Well done Marc :-)
I've removed the trusted tiler tag and will be closing that section of the forum down once all threads in there have become obsolete. It isn't a reflection on their standards, they're still awesome tilers and I still thank them for all of their contributions to the forum but I think the 'ranking...
Just a quick one, after going on the main site (as I use Tapatalk) I've noticed other the Trusted Advisor & Established tiler. If you don't mind me asking, how do these come about? I'd it automated by post count etc or is this something that is reviewed by Mods/Admin etc?
Just curious
