    got a trave floor soon. its a hallway with floorboards then goes onto screeded floor of about 6 sqm to the side. Now is it best to use ditra or no more ply ? I know ditra is good for mixed substrates but the tiles are 600 x 400 so i think more strength is needed. floorboards are in good nick...

    Hi all saw a wonderful gadget called a tile removal trowel from this forum.looks great will invest i think.wondering really how to remove the adhesive left behind on the plasterboard ,would i use say a wall paper steamer and a scraper for tubbed gear.what would be the way if it was cement based...

    whats your most popular patten

    Just been having a look back at the jobs i'v done this year. I noticed that every bathroom i'v tiled this year, all 12 of them, as been 600x300 or some size similar, in a brickbond stylie, with jasmin grout. I think most bathrooms in cheshire must look the same, whats your most popular patten.

    Whats the most expensive tiles you have fixed? mine was the picture of the cockeral you see on my post...i think they where around £3,000 for 64 tiles and they were hand made in holland. They where 4inch tiles and they went on the wall behind a Aga.
