The following is what i thought was right, please correct if wrong

Concrete Floors, Use a cement based adhesive(Rapid Set) for ceramic tiles, no need for flexi, Only use a flexi on concrete floors when laying porcelain.

Correct, but you would use flexi on anything other than ceramic, not just porcelain.

Ok, one more question, when laying any tile on a concrete floor do i need to prime the floor, if so what with.🙂

I think you could get away with PVA but i would always use an acrylic primer, all pva does is seal in the dust where as the primer acts as a bonding agent between the concrete and tile adhesive. Stick to acrylic primer.

Treat Anhydrite screeds differently- first laitance ( top flaky layer ) must be removed. Use a special primer ( usually )

I always use single part Bal Rapid set flexi on ply floors and plain rapidset on concrete floors. Flexi grout or widejoint + admix.
Can u 2 stop the girly hairpulling and nipple pinching now. 🙂

2 part adhesive is when you want the 'shlt to a blanket' type adhesive.

1 part flexi is good enough for plied floors. 🙂

Me too, single part flexi on ply, i hate using 2 part, real mess to clean off tools:sad_smile:
