As it was the top 10 show of the time it must have been 1961.

oh, it's got to be childstar Heintje, I used to sing all his songs on top of my voice... :lol: pretending mine was just as good when I was about 10 or so... :lol: He had a pretty long career, made a fortune.

My first musical memory was listenin to a reel to reel tape recording of various songs. The most memorable for me was elvis presley singin in the ghetto but it also had misty on it by ...... I thinkit was glen campbell. I still listen to both on the radiooccasionally and remeber fondly those times

Slade was my first single on a black and orange portable 10 LP stackable record player (speaker in the lid, orange and black, proper groovy!:lol: ) David Cassidy was my teenage bedroom wall pin-up... sigh... I'll google it,.. yep... this one in fact... :lol:

we were brought up on, Simon and Garfunkel, Marty Robbins, Mario Lansa, Kris Kristofferson, Neil Diamond etc....first record I bought was in 1972 (with some help from my mum as I was only 9 at the time) Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars....still ranks in my all time top 10 albums
