Discuss 2 part flexi adhesive in the British & UK Tiling Forum area at TilersForums.com.
Russ your correct admix in adhesive is a better spec than spf and that is what i would use on timber lot more admix in it than the spf and should be rapid if you can use it but it doesn't replace two part which has a lot better flexibility and sticking power which you sometimes need as i do like on stair treads in high street shops which i use PCI timberflex which by the way is not a rubber crumb adhesive like most but even harder than bal fastflex to get off your hands if you know what i mean  and you cant use cement based on metaleteArdex ardion 90 liquid goes with most of their cement range. i find it more flexible than most single part flexibles and easier to use than bal flex.
Nice one Martin which is probably why PCI timberflex is a cement based but is not suitable for using on steelPendleh, to give you an idea about possible circumstances I would like to invite you to take a look at our product Nordas D, english description on our homepage available, company Nordchemie, check via google. Regards, Martin
