Bal have done tests on the Weyroc P5.

Its ok providing its screwed at max 300mm, and tanked. But they will only recommend Singlepart Fast Flex as an adhesive. their reasoning is that "Chipboard is the least structurally sound of the suitable wooden surfaces", and that the "Fast Flex will work in a way similar to a de-coupling membrane".

After that, I asked them about tanking with ditra/keba, but they "haven't tested it so can't offer any recommendation".

But logic would say that if the floor is 100% rigid and covered with ditra, it would be fine. But i'd rather a professional gave you the go-ahead for that one.

Hope this helps.

Where are you going to 300mm centred joists though?
400mm,450mm or 600mm......yes,but 300mm?
you'll never find a product or a site situation which meets all the criteria for a guarantee, and let's face it-they're by and large worthless. But i know tm ultimate sticks to chipboard as well as fastflex. It's just far easier to use and a fraction of the price.
