30 mm Polished Granite (hearth)

Hello peeps, i'm tiling an hour from home all week and some of next.
The customer wants me now to source 30 mm granite for two hearths where log burning
stoves will be set.
I'v contacted a local source and was quoted £250 m2 :yikes:
Does anyone know if this sounds ok?
I need near 3m2.

Good idea Mark, or tell the customer to get someone else to do it.
I'm too busy at minute but this is a good customer of mine.
