Hi all.

I'm currently doing an ensuite refurb in my house. I have used hardiebackers and primed them ready for tiling, I have done a bit of tiling before but I'm a sparky by trade and I have a question with regard to adhesives for tiles of that size. Basically powdered or tubbed? Would you get away with tubbed for that size or not? BAL green star says 300 X 300 max but it just seems hardly much bigger to worry about. Maybe I'm wrong and should take heed of the manufacturers but what are your opinions?

Use cement adhesive all day long

I did think this. Just a good slow set flexible like mapei keraflex then for hardiebackers.
