How much should I charge for fixing 17m2 of 510 x 510 porcelain. Its a hallway, kitchen and dining area. I know the customer and he is supplying all materials, I'll just pass on my discount. How much would you charge all prep work aside, labour only

£30 per metre = £510 or round it to £500.

For me I'd be looking at a minimum of £35 a metre plus materials and prep..... But it depends on your area, going rate and quality of work your going to supply.

Cheers guys, I was thinking around the £30 per m2 mark. I am going to give a good discount though, take my time and get this one 100%, not only because I know the guy but this job could potentially bring a lot more work in.

Don't understand the big discount, your've got to do the job wether it's for mate or a customer, don't be the one to be known as the tiler who gives discounts.

Won't be a big discount, I just want to make sure I am def the one getting this job because of potential leads. I still don't get enough work to tile full time so money really isn't an issue as I am on a salary also.
