Dunno, £500 / 12m = £41.66m2. Not bad for a mates rate. Even at 2.5 days its a wage. I'd be more interested in the floor prep and the quality of it though

He won't be paying for latex as his brother owns a builders merchants so floor prep will be bang on.

Not sure what materials priced at but with no decoupler I'd say 70 quid would more than cover it. Still handy money for a day and a half's work.

Way too cheap, the fact it's a mate should have no real bearing on price, i do work for mates but i always have "the chat" before i price and or do the work. Mates first but as soon as work and money are on the table mates no longer come into it. You have to put food on the table so why drop your trousers???? it isn't worth it. Cheap work and prices are no good anyone can be a busy fool.....

If it included adhesive / grout and sealer ... then i could do it for that easy enough for a floor if it was flat enough to tile with rectified stone.

I agree Stef/Dave, there's only a day a halfs work there at the most, provided the floor is in good nick. £400 would be the most I'd charge.

Any decent tiler would have it tiled in a day and grouted next morning, maybe an hour in the evening to seal. Prices over £400 are a rip off IMO.

Yeah Bri, I would be looking to tile & seal in a shift then grout next day..

Quick return to reseal, job done..

Yeah, if possible.
If its for your mate then get him to seal it for you when your home catching some rays.

I wouldn't get those kinds of prices up here.

Some water based sealers can be applied to stone before it is dry... Fila W68 is one...
