900 x 450 tiles - Cutter needed - Urgent!!!

I've just been asked to start a job on monday with porcelain 900x450 walls and floor, my biggest dry cutter is a Ti66 my wet cutter is a dewalt 2400 - both too small. Does anybody have any ideas where to start looking for a dry cutter big enough to hire/loan??? Northwest please.....

I don't know where you could find them in the Northwest, but Rubi do a TX900N (Cutting length of 930mm) and TX1200N (Cutting length of 1250mm).

I'm aware of them, but i can't afford to shell out on a cutter for this one job - the customer is willing to pay any hire charges........

Aaah, understandable. They aren't cheap. Sorry I can't help anymore

Anybody tried cutting this size with the dewalt 2400??? Looks like it may be possible with a bit of tile overhang-not perfect by anymeans but preferable to an angle grinder.

Just cut so far through and then turn the tile around and cut in from the other end....Dave @ TT has already tried it and it cuts great he said..

Re, the D24000, Raise the blade up and place the tile on the bed as normal, Plunge through the middle of the tile and cut the first halve, turn the tile and repeat procedure, no probs

Cheers for the advice/offers all, gonna use the dewalt-just have to find somewhere to set it up i hope their garage is empty!!!!.
