About to rip up old portch floor tiles.

Hi all

Am about to take up old porch floor tiles and want to lay new ones

Do I need to do anythinng like seal the floor under before I retile?

Depending the condition of the screed after the existing tiles have been lifted a self leveling may be required...

is it deffinately going to be screed whitey?

Normally a screed would applied on a concrete floor but nowadays could be anything, probably need to see pics after the tiles are lifted just so it can be confirmed.

I'm surmising it's that kind of construction....
