hi all in need of some advise. im in the process of replacing my kitchen floor. we have chosen absolute black granit tiles 305 x 305. when we ordered them we were told that they would need sealing before laying and once layed and grouted. i have started trying to seal the tiles with the 'stone fix mpg sealer' they supplied. im following the instructions on the tin but when it comes to polishing it off the tiles or just left greasy? almost as if the sealer isnt soaking in properly. has anyone come across this before am i doing something wrong?

You should use enough to cover each stone ,but don't saturate them ! then leave it to absorb in to the stone & only apply to the top not side's or the underside .......

i have just beed putting a little sealer on a cloth evenly covering the top surface and then leaving for the 20 mins it says on the tin? has any one used this brand sealer before?

I would not seal till laid and grouted , the surface
tension of that stone polished will not accept 2 coats of sealer IMO.
Then you can use a floor buffer 🙂
