Access Panels using Velcro?

This is a new one on me, Ive got a client asking for some access panels to be secured using Industrial Velcro?!!! Has anyone ever done this before, Ive never come across this before, I dont want to shoot myself in the foot, before I whisk of my response!

industrial velcro does hold well

will it hold too well though? if its velcrod on how are you going to prize the tile off?

thats ok mate, I didnt think it was aimed at me

it does hold well and as you say it wont be easy to pull a panel off without damaging anything, the other disadvantage is that it doesnt grip so well if its pulled apart a few times

magnets would be better

Like Kilty, Ive always used the magnets, this is a new one on me, and its going on the back of 20mm limestone... Im not sure it will even stick to the stone run for cover!

weve used glass lifters to lift off heavy melamine panels in industrial bathrooms

they are really effective and dont cause any damage

I used mine to pull a dent out of my van one time
