Access panels

I have made up two access panels and want to fix them using screws. The tiles are porcelain 600 x 300mm.
What's the best drill bit to use and any suggestions about the fixings themselves.
I have one access panel in a step up to the shower, small around 200 x 150mm and the other is the end bath panel.

why do you want to put screws in them ?

In this situation I always advise using mirror screws that have the silver domed head on. they are quite decorative and finish bath panels off quite nicely if they are spaced out with aesthetics in mid. Otherwise magnetic clips offer an un-seen solution to the problem. Genesis APS (UK)Ltd make them and you should get them from your closest CTD or Tile Giant. Or online.

i would of thought be nicer to look at the tiles than chrome mirror screws imo just silicone the joints hope the panels aren’t made of ply

i use NMP as a backer and just silicone up, which is enough to keep it in place.

mirror screws will give a professional look. i know silicone will do the job but i think it looks like more of a professional job with these screws.
i once used the screws with the caps on that you fix toilet to floor with, this looked realy good on white tiles aswel and was bearly noticeable.

ask them how many they want and silicone as many chrome heads on one tile as they want if they are big tiles you may get as many as say 50 or even 100 look really professional not sure its what i would like on my tiles lol
