I have a small section of garden wall, single skin made with one sided bricks. So a small section of the back of the wall is visible showing the ugly side of the brick. I'd like to cut some brick slips and tile over this side.

Anyone recommend the correct adhesive to use? I'll be pointing between the bricks with mortar.
