Adhesives and primer

Hi I'm renovating my en suite. I have removed the wall tiles, which were laid directly on to plaster board they have come off very cleanly, leaving very little adhesive, I was thinking of removing the remaining adhesive and then priming with BAL Prime APD and then applying BAL WP1 before laying the tiles. We haven't decided what type of tile we are going to use yet so have not decide on the correct tile adhesive. Does this sound OK

The previous flooring has been removed to 18mm floor boards, I intend tile onto the floor so I will cover the floor with 6mm hardie backer boards, what type of adhesive would anyone recommend to fix the backer boards to the floor boards or do I need to over board the floor boards with ply before laying the backer boards?

You need to consider the weight of the wall tiles being fixed to plaster.
A single part flexible adhesive would be fine for the backerboards on the floor.
