Just a quick one

When i got bike from dealer told him to soften the suspension from 6 on front to 3

and pre load on the back from 4 down to 2

What i want to do is stiffen it up a bit as it is too soft ie. 5 on front and 4 on back

Read the instructions just says turn the 2 nuts on the handle bars and turn a nut on the back rear bottom of the bike

Shall i attempt it or sud i leave it til i take it in for it's first service on friday?

All advice greatley apreciated as am sat here itching to do it but am scared if i mess it up

As long as you count the turns you do then you can always turn them back. It wont ruin your warranty.

can you ask them to lower the seat 3 inches so you dont have to keep stopping by the kerbs

Thanks Neale am going to have a go now wil log on shortly after i have done it and let u know

As for seat always get it sent off to a motorcycle seat trimmer based in huddersfield to take foam out of seat

Thanks Grandad

When i finish racing my off road bike i have too loosen the two on the handle bars to release build up of air, i would have a fiddle mate if its not right get them to do it on Friday, the more you do to your bike the better understanding you will have of it...Owning a bike is like making love to a beautiful women, keep it well serviced, pat its seat everyday and tell her she is lovely, take her out every weekend, rider her hard, if you remember these things you will have her throbbing between your legs for many years to come

agree with above comment, write them down. Had to adjust mine as is second hand and was set up for heavy bloke so nearly threw me off, wallowing at 90mph.
Would advise to try little at a time rather than lots of clicks and turns at a time as it does make a difference.

Steve.
