Advice on laying tiles in kitchen

Hi
Kitchen is 7m x 4m and floor screed is pretty good, so should i tile straight onto the floor or does everyone still put a levelling compound over the screed to guarantee the area is perfectly level.
Thanks in advance to any advice on this. Also the best adhesive for this area, Im on a small/tight budget and its fairly cheap ceramic tiles.

if the screed is flat, prime it (SBR) and tile it. BTW SLC's don't give a perfectly level surface, they give a smooth surface but you need to do a bit of work to get it level.

if the floors only a cople of mm's here and there then there is no need to s.l.c and can be built up quite easily with adhesive,just make sure you know where the heighest points are,a 2m straight edge of spirit level will help with this,so not have any peoblems when laying
