Hi everyone,

I've just done a job where I had to match up to some existing tiling which were 10*10 honed travertine tiles.
Customer supplied all materials from Fire and Earth as the last time she had the first bit done. Today I grouted
but the grout doesn't exactly match. Comes to find out the grout has changed a bit since she had it first done.
Now she wants to know if I could grout over the old to match new grouting. I never messed about removing grout
and probably won't but would like to know what methods would be used to do this. Thanks in advance.

It will be really hard to match the grout, so if the customer wants a match you will have to regrout.
Don't use a grout rake, a) they are rubbish, b) if you slip you'll put a lovely big scratch across the tiles.
I normally use a Fein Multimaster, but after seeing of one of these babes in action i would suggest you get one.

Great piece of kit, and you can set the depth so you won't cut through any under floor heating if it has any.
Enjoy!!
