If you are employing the services of a professional tiler, you will find that we prefer to supply adhesive and grout so that we can be sure of the performance and finish of the products.

Explain all that you know about your substrate and the tiler will be able to recommend the correct materials to be used for fixing and grouting.

As far as the tiles go, I usually advise clients that they can select whatever tiles they like. However, there may be additional preparation required if they select a natural stone, for example.

well want him to cut round it as he said will cost less and if i keep a few tiles and it comes to putting new toliets and sink in then the old one can come out and lay the spare tiles i kept. Just wonder if a tiler can do a neat job cutting round shaps??? as there bound to be a few rough edges, thou i have a feeling that you guys would put white silcon round it that i be happy with.
