advice with floor grouting please!

hi guys,

I've not been tiling long and i seem to be encountering problems when it comes to grouting floors.
The problem i am getting is that the grout seems to 'dip' and not be level between the two tiles connected by the grout (if that makes sense?)

The only thing that i can think of is that i'm not mixing the grout well enough and maybe it's too wet? Really annoying cause i have to wait till it dries and go over again which takes too long 🙁

Advice very much appreciated.

Also, what wash boy would you recommend as i am gonna get one soon?

Its all down to experience with the grouting. Sounds as if you may be either mixing grout too wet or washing off too soon and maybe using too much water.

As for a washboy, i favour the Karl Dahm.

Could be too wet, give it a few minutes before you sponge over.

Any washboy is better than no washboy!

Once the grouts mixed it should be able to hang from the float and not slop off.

thats good advice. what sort of time would you guys take to grout and clean tiles with the washboy? say for a 10msq bathroom?
