Keep me posted matey. Sounds like a lush event!

My lady's old man works for part of the MoD making bullets, shells and other munition. He gets to go in the posh VIP bit at the show but only nips in and out. It sits right in front of the tower and always gets the nod from the harriers (if you've ever seen that it's crazy, they sort of bow to the crowd at the end of their bit).

There are some cool unveiling of new aircraft this year. And there's the new land speed record vehicle coming... as a static, obviously. It's trying to hit 1000MPH.

Also a Focus RS stunt show I'm interested in seeing but not if it clashes with the raptor!

Id love to go and take my boys. I took them to Duxford last year to see the Red Arrows. The look on thier faces as nine planes fly over head and climb into a massive fan with smoke trailing was awesome!

Ill let you know if we are going
You should take them this air show. If you think just the red arrows (although I have patriotism, I actally think the frecce tricolori are better) are the only ones that are good (and they're more than good) you should checkout some of the more modern fighters. A brilliant show. And quite unique to the person who's not a nerd. This is my second time going here and this year twice the planes are there. :)

My old man goes every year on the day before it opens to general public, then he is also taking our eldest on one of the days as well. I used to go to airshows as a kid, but get bored with it now. Only interested in the likes of the Red Arrows
