Alternative to Jackoboard Boardfix

Hope you're having a good weekend.

Does any one have any recommendations for a cheaper alternative to Jackoboard board fix sealant?

I know that No More Ply adhesive can be used in a similar way but that seems to expand slightly.

Just using it for butting boards together and sealing any mechanical fixings on the backer boards in a public shower area and changing room.

Open to any recommendations, cheers!

If you're not using their own stuff they won't honour their warranty on any failed boards down the line I'd imagine. Is that a consideration or are you covering the warranty on it if things then go wrong?
